::A beautiful building with lovely rooms and plenty of space. The meal was excellent and I enjoyed the Red Panda beer, which was a German style wheat beer. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Looking forward to going back there in 2 days time.

::Kaila's guesthouse is a Bhumthang institution and my family has been coming here since the 80's. Kaila and family are very sweet and offer a warm and genuine experience, with some of the best food in the valley.

::We stayed for two nights. The hotel is beside the potato fields which were empty when we visited (March end). The warmer is wood based which requires loading wood every half an hour. So during night the warmer turns off and the room becomes quite chilling. There was no power supply till 10 pm as the electricity board was doing maintenance. The hotel could have provided emergency battery based lights at least in the corridor as it was completely dark. Food was tasty. Initially they wanted us to take the buffet but we insisted on Ala carte and they reluctantly agreed. The price was reasonable. Nothing much to do in bhumtang during march.
