::A lovely fortress with beautiful architecture. However the official guide from the fortress gave us very sketchy details about the place. He did not say anything about the paintings on the wall inside the hall where the royal weddings take place.

::A beautiful palace, a must visit place in punakha. The colors of flowers outside palace is just amazing. I think this is national flower. Very beautiful place situated at the junction of 2 rivers. Do spend some time here.
