::Our stay at Taktshang village resort happened by chance. We had booked ourselves into a homestay near Paro which on reaching turned out to be quite disappointing. We got out of there very quickly and entrusted ourselves in the able hands of Nidup, our guide and Pradeep, our driver and hoped that the place they find for us would be decent if not great. And Nidup did not disappoint us. He took us to Taktshang Village Resort and we fell in love with the hotel as soon as we arrived. It was close to but well outside the bustling Paro city, was surrounded by trees, the room was exceptionally big and clean, and hosts were very welcoming. Once we saw the room, we negotiated with the manager a bit, agreed on the rate and entered the room. That is when Nidup asked us to look out through the huge bedroom window…and what we saw stunned us. Far away, perched in the middle of a rocky mountain, as nothing more than a tiny white speck was Tiger’s Nest! What else could we ask for? We were pretty tired and placed our order for dinner rightaway (before we stepped out to explore Paro). And later, when we reached back and came to the restaurant for dinner, we were absolutely stunned at the amount of food. At this hotel, you get more than your money’s worth. Do remember not to order too many items on the menu. The quantity is huge and the quality is awesome. Our heartfelt gratitude to the manager and staff of Takshang Village Resort for making the last four days of our trip absolutely wonderful. We look at the pictures often and cant wait to be back. Thank you!

::I saw an empty hotel with just a security guard. No intimation of cancellation or no confirmation call. I had to look for alternative hotel arrangment after taktsang hiking!

::I want to thank all of the resort's staff for their hospitality. It was wonderful experience. Food, room, environment all are 10/10. The view of tiger nest can be seen from the resort. I love this resort. I will definitely stay in the next time.
