  I always wanted to visit this place because I know this was there away before urban Thimphu emerged. Today I finally made it and turns out that the Buddhist temple has thrived despite the many challenges, in fact the place has saved a good patch of land from turning into a concrete jungle. It a great breathing space in the crowded Thimphu. Your parents can hang out here and find peace of mind.

  Mysterious, magical, half forgotten... This temple has a Chief deity " the lord of purification ". A must see if you happen to pass by this way. The characters on the spinning prayer drums are probably Tibetan...discover what they say. It has a connection with the deity. :-)
