  Nice hotel & staff, the room huge, but the carpet was disgusting and it seems impossible to clean.

  We had an absolutely marvelous time during our stay at City Hotel Thimpu. It is centrally located. You can easily walk to the market etc. The hotel lobbby is large and well decorated. The reception staff was efficient and pleasant and we loved the welcome ginger honey tea. The rooms were clean and spacious with all amenities. The free wifi is always a pleasure. The food was nice and it was specially catered to our needs. The staff at the restaurant was also extremely polite, helpful and pleasant. Loved every minute. Thank you City Hotel. Sudeep Bhangoo

  The dinner at City hotel was sumptuous. The hotel at the lower end of the Thimphu main town is accessible to all amenities. The lounge is very luxurious and dramatically beautiful.

  The hotel stay was overall pretty good. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The only issue we consistently face was that of weak and vulnerable WiFi. The location of the hotel is pretty good, the city market, farmers market, riverside walk all are very close, the taxi stands are also very close.

  Very spacious room and very comfortable. Services were superb. Manager over there brings more flexibility to make their guest comfort. They really care for the guest. Recommended.
