::On your trip to Bhutan, don't miss this wonderful guest house in Bumthang. The room was very cozy and well-appointed. The hostess Kinley Gyem was absolutely wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was excellent and authentic; it was some of the best food we had during our 12 days touring throughout Bhutan.

::The hotel really surprises you. It has most of the amenities required for a really comfortable stay. The interior has a aesthetic aspects. The staff is very helpful. The most amazing fact about the place the owner Kinley which is such a wonderful and helpful person. She know Bumthang very well and can help you make your itenary while u stay there. And yes they have a very beautiful and cozy dining area where they serve amazing food. Also Kinley makes very yummy homemade wild strawberry jam, don’t forget to take it.!!!

::It is a very beautiful resort located to have the whole view of the valley. We enjoyed our stay very much. Very warm owner (Kinley). They serve home cooked food and is of Bhutanese or Indian style, as per your choice. It is a MUST STAY resort in Bhumthang. You can have a view of the valley, flowing river and very close to the town. Totally recommend it.

::This was our most favorite stay in Bhutan and we absolutely recommend it! It's run by a family (all the cooking and service are done personally) so it has a very homey feel to it. The owners are extremely delightful, their service went above and beyond, and they taught us a lot about Bhutanese culture during our stay. The rooms are made from local pine wood, very spacious and newly renovated with bathrooms that are equipped with heated floors. Also, its located a short walking distance from the town center and it's located in an area where you have a beautiful view looking out of the window. The owners are very caring; I had caught a cold the night I arrived from all the weary traveling and they cooked me specially-made food for my upset stomach. Each meal has authentic Bhutanese dishes and the food is made especially upon your arrival so it's nice and hot! All their ingredients are organic and breakfast consisted of foods made with local produce (homemade cheese, buckwheat pancakes, jam, etc.). Staying here was a wonderful experience and if you're looking for a place to stay in Bumthang I would recommend the Dekyil Guest House.

::I stayed in Dekyil guest house with my mother and enjoyed our stay so much that I returned with my in-laws. It feels like home away from home, with privacy combined with a lovely family welcoming vibe. The rooms are very clean, quiet, warm in winter, have heated floors in the bathroom (so luxurious in winter!), with beautiful views and the most comfortable beds I have slept on during my travels through Bhutan. The food is so fresh and delicious and catered to suit dietary requirements, I would love to be able to eat this delicious, locally sourced, freshly prepared food every day! It is only a very short walk to the main street, with the guest house situated in a quiet area. Kinley and her mother are such lovely hosts and ensured we were comfortable and had an enjoyable stay. I highly recommend Dekyil guest house to anyone traveling in Jakar. I hope to see you again Kinley. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.
