::Beautiful and unforgettable views from the hotel rooms. Very polite staff who went great lengths to make our stay so memorable. We had enquired about a herb with our tour guide which was sold in the market and upon the request of our tour guide and to our surprise the next day we were served a dish made with that herb which really showed their great hospitality. Being vegetarians they made sure we were served dessert which was eggless as the buffet contained desserts with eggs. These are many memories we will always treasure. Kudos to this hotel staff and the people of Bhutan.

::Located inside the woods, isolated from the hustle and bustle of Punakha town. Very quiet and serene. Rooms are spacious and maintained very well. Food was good and service great.

::Dhensa boutique resort has been my go-to destination while in Punakha for our yearly tour groups ever since 2014. We make 8 visits each year, always staying two nights at a time. Not once have we had a bad experience - on the contrary, our stays are always a great time. From the comfortable rooms and amenities, to the friendly staff, it's no surprise that we come back every year without fail. I'm more than happy to give my highest recommendation to Dhensa boutique resort.

::Tranquil, peaceful location high up in the valley. From the minute you step out of the car, the air is crisp, and the hotel blends into the scenery. Met at the lobby by attentive staff. The check-in is quick and easy. Stairs will take you to your room, which is large and very comfortable. We had 2 beds, a sofa, a sitting chair, and a balcony. There's a mini bar with charges, but all water is free. Safety deposit box, hair dryer, and iron in the room. Plugs everywhere, especially close to the bed. The bathroom has a shower and a tub with great views. Laundry service is charged. Breakfast and dinner included both buffet style. Restaurant staff works nonstop to get all guests' orders. There are medium-sized tour groups or small private tours like us. A group of 2 can get lost in the crowd, but Kharga noticed us and always made sure we were taken care of. The food was ok, but I can see they try hard. It's a different menu each night, so it can be hit and miss, but I was always able to find something to eat each night. Salads, apps, fish, chicken, vegetarian, and dessert are on the buffet menu. Happy hour from 6:30pm to 7pm with traditional dances on some nights. Great boutique option in the area. No elevators.
