  Spacious comfortable rooms, breathtaking views with both sunrise and sunset visible from the same room, cooperative staff. Window ledge seating and a swing in the garden. Food was disappointing, despite the fact that they tried adding Indian food for us, mainly due to lack of salt in anything they cooked. They did have a large European contingent staying with them at that time, maybe leading to this situation. The good part was the organic food they grow within the premises. It's as fresh as it comes. They did have an amazing green salad one night . There was no Bhutanese dish available, not even Suja. Overall, a mixed experience. Would have rated it 3..5 if I could.

  We stayed 3 nights here on a holiday. The place is a little outside Punakha on a slope. Since it is out in the open, the view is breathtaking. They have rooms at different levels. Rooms are very spacious and well provided. Breakfast and dinner was included in our package. They have a regular menu and a special menu to cater to individual taste. They made good Indian food for us, over and above the regular fare, all of which were very tasty. Staff is very friendly, courteous and helpful. They grow their own vegetables and fruits to a large extent, so food is as fresh as you can get. Very nice experience. Strongly recommended.

  Oh what a lovely resort this one at Punakha. Unfortunately due to packed schedule, couldn't really enjoy this resort. Wish we had some more time to just sit and relax and stare at the mountains. It's really well maintained with huge spacious clean rooms and bathrooms. They have some lovely landscape and garden where you can relax and have some coffee staring at the mountains. Early morning, was mesmerized to see a gorgeous sunrise. Food was nice but they need to increase the varieties and also cater to all people.

  This is a lovely resort. My double room was fabulously spacious, lots of warm water to shower in, located on the side of a hill has great views. Restaurant offered tasty food and the staff were very helpful. Unfortunately the wi-fi was not strong enough in the room but was more than adequate in the reception.

  During my stay was great and food too, as of my test. I love kind of spicy being Bhutanese. Apart from Resort they have a coffee shop or cafe at the entrance, just next to highway and believe me it’s the only cafe you will find around that place.
