Two12YearOlds
::After landing in Bhutan, this was the first place that Nidup, our guide took us for lunch. The two12year olds are not too fussy about food: We need a clean restaurant, a very clean restroom, and good foodcat a reasonable cost. The ladies at Shambhala took good care of us - of course with Nidup around, we couldnt go wrong on the choice of food. We had rice, noodles, some chicken and everything tasted good. The only drawback was that the portions were far too little - leaving us wanting more. On the second day as well, we ended up at Shambhala since some of the other restaurants that we entered didnt match up to our expectations - especially where restrooms are concerned. Traveling with a 4 year old, a clean restroom was an absolute necessity for us and hence we ended up at Shambhala again. The ambience of the restuarant is great and it is located in the center of the city. Overall, good food, great ambience, small portions.

::A aesthetically pleasing atmosphere with good food to get praised, the quality of the service was outstanding . I also liked how you cater and adapt your menu with no fuss. A highly recommended place for food with good music and to relax with friends and family.

::The restaurant is at a great location and they have done a great job in the overall setup and ambience. The food was okay. The fries seemed refried, the palak panner was nicely done, the Kashmiri dum aloo was not actually dum aloo but almost like aloo jeera. We spoke to the chef and he was open to suggestions and feedback.

::The have separate restaurant, cafe and bar. The food menu doesn’t have many varieties but they are good. I visited on Wednesday, and they took more than an hour to serve food.

::As you walk in through the shambhala corridors, the ambience is unmatched. The food was great and the service was excellent. And after dinner there was a lounge one floor up where they have great cocktails and they play good music. And the view was spectacular.
