It is a living museum run fully by the youth and supported by Bhutan Youth Development Fund. The museum gives a glimpse of the traditional Bhutanese life. There is a small collection of typical household objects and tools. The youth guide also explained how the Bhutanese used to build houses out of mud, the making of wheat wine etc. One can try their traditional costumes (Gho & Kira) and have photos taken for free. There are also traditional dance performances. One can also purchase some handicraft for souvenir as well as supporting them. Overall it was an interesting experience.

Simply Bhutan is one of its kind of experience. It provides a detailed information of Bhutanese culture specifically how Bhutanese house are & how people live day to day life. It has all original equipment. They provide dedicated guide to explain in detail. Also they have few interesting shops selling souvenir. Another important part here is the authentic restaurant. You can get authentic Bhutanese food here. They have option of veg & non-vegetarian. Also they showed us the butanese dance which is performed on various occasions. Overall it was an amazing experience. Simply Bhutan is must visit place in Thimpu

Enjoyed my visit to this museum thoroughly. It was a great experience to wear the Kira( the national dress) and walk around the place. Our official guide from the museum was pretty good and explained everything well to us. The dance performances were lovely and it was so good that they invited us to dance with them and also taught us the steps. This was the first time that as a visitor to a place I was invited to take part in the dance. The butter tea was awesome and I loved trying my hand at archery. Don't miss this place if you are visiting Thimphu

Very memorable experience. The staff is really good, especially the guide who explained everything to us. The dance by the girls and the guide, the butter tea, the foot artist, etc were very nice. We even got to try archery and also, the guide danced and sang everytime someone hit the target.
