  We were a tad skeptical while checking into the third sojourn of our Bhutan trip and were we in for some surprise! The property initially seemed quite small and a little away from the bazaar area of Bumthang - in fact more on the lines of a mid-sized bungalow. The apprehensions, if any, stayed with us for the first 10 minutes - our entourage (my wife, me, our guide & driver) were extended a whole lot of warmth upon our arrival and that's the way it remained over the next 2-days. While we were the sole guests in this 9-room property, there were absolutely no compromises of any manner whatsoever. Sonam, the eloquent manager & her team (esp. both the Tshering's) went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The property, in itself is very cozy & tastefully done-up, whether it's main lobby, the restaurant, the sit-ins or the rooms with the heated bathroom flooring. The dinners were elaborate and amongst the best we had in our entire trip. All in all, probably the best hotel we came across in our 12-day stay in Bhutan, with by-far the most impeccable & warm service. Thanks.

  We, a party of 4, had a great stay at the lodge. The staff and the service was absolutely fantastic. Would definitely stay here again.
