  Perhaps, it is the stay with the best view of the Phobjika Valley, unobstructed 270 degrees view of the wetlands. Very easy to spot the Black necked cranes as the move by just outside the Homestay. Restaurant and rooms are cozy. In winters, they provide electromatic bed along with heater. The chimney heater in the restaurant is much needed. Nice hospitality by the caretaker and worker. We stayed in December 2019 for 2 nights. Good food for that remoteness. Also provides WiFi with decent speeds. Recommended place if you plan to stay in Phobjika.

  Serene location on the side of valley with a great view. Nice cozy rooms with wooden architecture. Very humble and cooperative staff. Served decent Indian Vegeterian food. A great experience indeed!

  Room was not good, very small bed, very small room. No fresh feeling in room. Good part was they provided room heater which is required in Phobhjika. Washroom was too lavish as compared to room. A little unexpected for phobhjika. Breakfast worst. They didn't have anything else apart from bread butter and oats. Means they didn't prepare anything at all. For dinner we ordered Maggie which too watery and oily. Sandwich was ok but too costly. 2 pieces of bread for 180 RS in a village, not worth. Basically one should not expect much from hotel at phobhjika. It's a valley where few people stay. So this hotel might still be a good option for phobjikha. since little difficult to find something better here. But not worth.

  Wangchuk gangtey is an amazing, cozy wooden property overlooking the gangtey Valley. The inside rooms are cozy and small. The rooms with valley view are spacious and have twin beds. Room heaters are available in all rooms. The bathrooms are very spacious. The sundeck is the most amazing place of the whole property. With a prior notice of a few hrs they even arranged for hot stone bath for us in a nearby house. The caretakers are helpful and the food in the restaurant is good. The crane center is right opposite.
