  Spent 2 nights, 20-21 May 2023, in Trogon Villa, Yongkola, on a fantastic birding trip with Nature India. The rooms have been designed for birders - twin beds, twin cupboards, twin tables to keep luggage on, a long table in the centre of the room where two persons can work simultaneously, plug points near both beds for charging batteries, twin series of pegs to hang clothes on, lots of space for keeping equipment, a lovely, convivial balcony which we barely enjoyed due to our hectic birding schedule, electric kettle with tea-coffee accoutrements, striking photos of birds, and a well-appointed attached toilet. The restaurant has enormous, beautiful bird photos, and a drinking water dispenser; also hot water in flasks to make your own tea or coffee. Apparently the owner is a birder himself and has designed the Villa and its spacious rooms for birders. The food, including the packed lunch, was very good. The staff was most courteous and responsive to any request. In short, it’s an ideal place for birders to camp at.

  Very much enjoyed our stay. Beautiful hotel and garden with very friendly and attentive staff. Rooms were spacious and clean, bathrooms were modern. Highly recommend a stay at Trogon Villa!

  Trogon Villa Lodge - Refreshing place! This would be a paradise for the bird watchers and Nature lovers. They have excellent meals. They also try to serve their fresh organic farm veggies. Friendly staffs with full of smiles on their face. Rooms are little different and spacious. The morning view of the low lying fog on the mountains are breathtaking. You must try some time lapse here. This cozy property is little away from the town but best known for birding groups. Everyone should be a birdwatchers for a day! Believe me it heals your stresses. You will love this! It is the real Satyr Trogon's Villa!!! Not luxury but beautiful

  Great place and beautiful weather. It’s very very relaxing to get a real hot shower after days of trekking and remote village stays. Rooms are very spacious and beds very comfortable. Felt like spending some more nights at the lodge. A paradise for bird 🦅 lovers, plenty to see around and explore and at a very comfortable altitude 5,000 feet amsl. Certainly would love ❤️ to come back and spend some time out here. Till next time.

  Least known Villa or tourist standard resort in Thridangbe,Mongar. The Villa is located very next to Bumthang-Mongar Highway. The rooms are comfortable with modern facilities. don’t have to worry during winter seasons, as they have room heater and hot water heating systems. They also provide delicious meals on order. The area is known for bird watching during peak Tourists seasons. Only thing I found missing is Television in the rooms.
