I recently stayed at Le Meridien Riverfront Paro in Bhutan with my family including my 93 years old grandfather. It definitely has unparalleled hospitality. Plus the staff treated us, especially my grand-dad with utmost care and love. They were so particular about their service towards us. The hotel was impeccably clean, and the quality of food was exceptional. The highlight was the breathtaking view, surpassing all others in Bhutan. I highly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable experience. It surely makes it a place you never want to leave.

I had one of the best experiences at Le meridien, Paro riverfront. It was the perfect destination for spending quality time with my family. The rooms are luxurious with mesmerising views and the staff is very well trained with an impeccable service . You will not need to go out of the hotel for any of your meals as they have a lot of variety, right from the local Bhutanese cuisine to an assortment of continental and Indian food.I highly recommend you to go and give this property a visit for your next trip in Bhutan.

From the moment I entered my room, it became evident that cleanliness was not a priority for the hotel staff. The bedsheets and pillows were visibly dirty, with heavy stains that left me questioning the attention to detail in maintaining the room's hygiene. It was a disappointing start to my stay. The hotel had certain rules and restrictions in place around the pool area, such as not wearing slippers and using the inside racks near the entrance. However, the lack of enforcement rendered these rules meaningless. Guests freely disregarded the guidelines, and it seemed as though there was no staff member dedicated to ensuring compliance. This negligence not only diminished the overall ambiance of the pool area but also compromised the safety and comfort of the guests. The gym facility was another area of concern. Its doors were left wide open, allowing crows to fly in from the backyard. The constant presence of these birds not only caused disruptions but also posed potential risks to the guests. It was disconcerting to witness such a lack of attention to detail and disregard for the well-being of the guests. My package included a paid dinner, and I eagerly anticipated indulging in a variety of dishes, hoping for an authentic Bhutanese culinary experience. However, I was left underwhelmed. The food, although decent, seemed to cater more to foreign tastes rather than capturing the essence of Bhutanese cuisine. What added to my disappointment was the blatant favoritism displayed by the chef. Throughout the evening, the chef's attention and inquiries were directed solely towards a white foreigner and their group, completely disregarding our presence. This unfair treatment left a bitter taste in our mouths and significantly impacted our overall dining experience. As a guest, I understand that minor issues can arise, but what truly marred my stay was the evident lack of effort by the staff to rectify these concerns. The hotel management should prioritize cleanliness, enforce the pool rules, maintain a secure gym environment, and ensure fair treatment of all guests regardless of their background. Improvement in these areas would undoubtedly enhance the overall experience and leave a lasting positive impression. In conclusion, my stay at this hotel fell short of my expectations. The unclean room, lackadaisical enforcement of pool rules, the presence of crows in the gym, and the biased behavior of the chef all contributed to a disappointing experience. I sincerely hope that the management takes these concerns seriously and undertakes necessary measures to address them.
